Project description

Technopolis is located in the south of Moscow and covers 120 hectares. Our Customer is an international leading high tech company active in the field of aerospace, robotics, security, radio electronics and IT with partners and Clients all over the world. The ambition is to create conditions, facilities and ecosystem that will allow to reduce new product time to market by creating world class technical infrastructure facilities for research and production, and by establishing a cluster in the new sustainable urban development that would be attractive for investors, talented people and partners to work, recreate and live. The development will host an aerospace cluster, anchor international customers and partners. The best world practices and success factors from most successful cities and hubs with knowledge based economies were shared and translated into flexible sustainable integrated urban master plan with mixed functional program and green dedicated smart energy infrastructure, based on “pay as you grow principle.” The phased investment and realization plan, public private finance structure where developed as part of it. Feasibility and concept design for dedicated smart utilities and energy infrastructure are based on business case and will be realized as a private initiative. The program includes world class high tech research and production facilities, IT infrastructure, facilities for businesses, start ups, medical care, shopping, education, sports and recreation. World best practices in integrated urban planning, landscaping and environmental protection were adapted in this area development plan.

 

Services provided

As part of the assignment for urban master plan for development and general plan of Technopolis, together with our customer and project partners we co-developed the vision, strategy, functional program, investment plan, project phasing and public private structure. Marecon was responsible for development of final functions project program, product development supervision, project work plan with responsibilities matrix, consultancy on public private structure, account management, contract negotiation and elaboration, contract, risks process management, support in the approval process with involved governmental institutions. Contract party was our daughter company LLC Deerns Marecon, Russian based joint venture of Marecon and Deerns Consulting Engineers.
